Bocote

Bocote is a quite rare wood from the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa. It is prized first of all for its beauty. It is unmistakable. It has a yellowish green or golden brown body with dramatic dark brown to almost black stripes That is why the grain patterning is quite striking. With a lot of figuring and its zebra-like contrasts Bocote is a very eye-catching wood.
